The Client
Our client is a leading media and communications group with a wide ranging portfolio of instantly recognisable household brands. They currently require office based sales staff to sell online advertising solutions in an exciting online business directory.
The Role
This will involve working in a team based environment where you will be responsible for the sales of online directory advertising packages and solutions to a range of customers across the public and private sector. Working to daily targets in a fast paced environment you will be responsible for the complete sales process from initial presentation through to written proposal. This will involve sourcing quality leads, cold call telemarketing and generating new business by focussing on providing innovative and creative new media solutions that meet customer needs.
The Candidate
To apply you will require experience of selling directory advertising / media space from any sector (i.e. newspaper; online, printed; radio etc). You will be very motivated with a high activity rate and the ability to deal with at all levels. You will be commercially aware, motivated and enthusiastic. You will have the tenacity to drive sales forward coupled with a real desire to work in an online media industry. You will need to be creative, articulate, proactive and quick thinking.
